This restaurant is owned by Christian Constant, an Michelin award winning chef who has 4 other restaurants. I found this place by chance in Toulouse, it was 35 degrees and humid in the city centre, any ambitions to pursue tourist things were put to rest as I searched for a restaurant with the essentials, good food, wine, and wifi.This place stood like a classy car in a showroom.

Our group of 3 were given a table outside overlooking the square. The staff were very attentive and helped us with translation of the menu.

The dishes flowed quickly to the table and not knowing anything about the restaurant or the chef, I tasted the food and was amazed. The set menu was absolutely amazing and made for a lovely lunch experience in Toulouse. I look forward to dine here again.

Le Pavillon des Boulevards is a little gem in Bordeaux. The chefs Denis and Nelly Franc have a lovely place that features indoor and outdoor seating in a verdant terrace.

The cuisine is best described as fine gastronomy using the best of the local produce in the area. The restaurant cuisine and service is excellent, and my experience reminded me whey they are a Michelin star restaurant.

I went with the Surprise Menu with a local Bordeaux wine, the next 2 and a half hours was a journey for the taste buds. The staff are very attentive and share a lot of information about the dishes presented.

A must when in Bordeaux.
